Dipodomys heermanni (Heermann's Kangaroo Rat) is a species of rodents in the family Heteromyidae. They are native to The Nearctic. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 28.8 months and can grow to 111.25 mm. They rely on saltation to move around.
