Mellivora capensis (Honey Badger) is a species of mammals in the family Mustelidae. They are listed in cites appendix iii. They are native to the Palearctic and Ethiopia. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 318 months and can grow to 682.96 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
