Cacajao melanocephalus (Black Uakari) is a species of primates in the family pithecid monkeys. They are listed in cites appendix i. They are native to The Neotropics. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 216 months and can grow to 650 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
