Hapalemur griseus (Bamboo Lemur) is a species of primates in the family true lemurs. They are listed in cites appendix i. They are native to Ethiopia. They are herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 205.2 months and can grow to 335 mm. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).

Definition: Appendix I lists species that are the most endangered among CITES-listed animals and plants. They are threatened with extinction and CITES prohibits international trade in specimens of these species except when the purpose of the import is not commercial, for instance for scientific research.
