Heterocephalus glaber (Naked Mole Rat) is a species of rodents in the family Bathyergidae. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, crepuscular herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 120 months and can grow to 129.61 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
