Georychus capensis (Cape Mole Rat) is a species of rodents in the family Bathyergidae. They are found in Afrotropics. They are solitary, diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 36 months and can grow to 34.96 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
