Brachyteles arachnoides (Muriqui) is a species of primates in the family atelid monkeys. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to The Neotropics. They visit flowers of Mabea fistulifera. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 578.1900000000001 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
