Ateles fusciceps (Black Headed Spider Monkey) is a species of primates in the family atelid monkeys. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are found in The Neotropics. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 288 months and can grow to 489.15 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
