Saguinus oedipus (Cotton Top Tamarin) is a species of primates in the family Callitrichidae. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to The Neotropics. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 277.2 months and can grow to 630 mm. They have parental care (paternal care and cooperative breeding).
