Leontopithecus chrysopygus (Golden Rumped Lion Tamarin) is a species of primates in the family Callitrichidae. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to The Neotropics. They are diurnal omnivores. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
