Callithrix aurita (Buffy Tufted Ear Marmoset) is a species of primates in the family Callitrichidae. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to The Neotropics. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 580 mm. They have parental care (paternal care).
