Okapia johnstoni (Okapi) is a species of mammals in the family Giraffidae. They are listed as endangered by IUCN. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 396 months and can grow to 2000 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They rely on running to move around.
