Monodonta nebulosa is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Trochidae, the top snails.[1]

Description

The shell size varies between 15 mm and 22 mm, the body volume is 1.46 cm^3, and the wet body mass is 2.55 grams.[2] The species is a grazer, and eats mostly on low growing organisms, for example: grasses, forbs or algae.[3]

Distribution

This species is distributed around the Red Sea and the Eastern Indian Ocean.
