Scutus unguis is a species of snails in the family keyhole limpets. They are native to Natal, Mozambican Exclusive Economic Zone, Masirah Island, Kenyan Exclusive Economic Zone, Mascarene Islands, Molukka Sea, and Seychelles. Dead Scutus unguis form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 33 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
