Clanculus puniceus (Philippi 1846)

Clanculus puniceus is a species of snails in the family top snails. They are native to Kenyan Exclusive Economic Zone and Mascarene Islands. Dead Clanculus puniceus form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 20 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
