Tubulanus ezoensis Yamaoka 1940

Diagnosis

Anterior is shiny red, brownish color in the intestinal region gradually fading to yellow brown. Wide white rings on the head. The head is distinctly marked off from the esophageal region by the folding in of the integument at the cephalic groove.

Look Alikes

This species resembles Tubulanus punctatus, Tubulanus albocintus, and Tubulanus rubicundus but differs from them in external and internal characters and appears to lack lateral sensory organs.
