Buliminacean foraminifera, test elongate, cylindrical, early chambers biserial, later uniserial; aperture terminal, surrounded by a collar and a narrow rim.

Early stage biserial, later with a few subcylindrical uniserial chambers subdivided by vertical and horizontal partial partitions into numerous small chamberlets in honeycomblike arrangement; aperture terminal, with phialine lip and internal siphonlike toothplate.
