Apparently it may be confused with some species of Draba also but the hairs are distinctive and flowers white or pinkish.

Perennial, laxly caespitose, suberect, 5-10 cm tall, branched mostly from the base, clothed with stellate and branched appressed hairs (hairs dimorphic). Leaves linear, sessile, 5-15 mm long, 1-2.5 mm broad. Racemes 10-20-flowered, up to 6 cm long in fruit, ebracteate. Flowers c. 4 mm across, white or pinkish; pedicel up to 8 mm long in fruit, filiform, somewhat erect. Sepals c. 2.5 mm long, 1.5 mm broad. Petals c. 3.5 mm long, 2.5 mm broad. Stamens c. 2:3 mm long; filaments not appendaged. Siliculae 3-5 mm long, 2-3 mm broad (excl. 1-1.5 mm long style), ovate-oblong, somewhat inflated uniformly, apex acute, entire, densely pubescent; septum not veined; seed 1 in each locule, c. 2 mm long, ovate-oblong, brown.
