Centromadia pungens (Common Tarweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. Flowers are visited by Halictus ligatus, Checkered White, Bicyrtes capnopterus, and Megachile fidelis.
