Very similar and doubtfully distinct from Alyssum iranicum Hausskn ex Baumg. from which it differs by its filaments of smaller stamens appendaged at the base, and the style usually slightly longer.
It has also Peen confused with Alyssum mulleri Boiss. and Alyssum persicum Boiss., which have smaller and longer flowering and fruiting branches respectively, with other differences.
