Not yet recorded for Iran and Afghanistan. In flower it looks like a Brassica but the unilocular and only 2 ovuled ovary is distinctive.

Annual, 15-30 (-50) cm tall, erect, corymbosely branched above, glabrous, glaucous. Lower leaves 5-12 cm long, 2-4 cm broad, oblong-ovate or oblong-lanceolate; upper ovate-cordate, amplexicaul, 2-6 cm long, 1-3 cm broad, entire, acute. Racemes many flowered, branched, each increasing up to 10 (-15) cm in length in fruit. Flowers c. 5 mm across, yellow; pedicel up to 5(-7) mm long in fruit, spreading. Sepals 2-2.5 mm long, 1 mm broad. Petals c. 5 mm long, 1.5 mm broad. Stamens c. 2.5:3.5 mm long. Siliculae ovate-tetragonate, 5-7 mm long, 4-5 mm broad (excl. c.3 mm long beak-like apex); appendages short, crimped, winglike; valves coriaceous, somewhat tubercled, glaorous; seed c.3 mm long, 1 mm broad, ovate-oblong, brown.
