Rhizomatous plant 45-90 cm. Leaves numerous, sessile, elongate-ovate or lanceolate, 5-15 cm x 1.5-5 cm. Flowering heads terminal, 6-8 cm in diam., forming corymbs, ray flowers yellow. V - mid spring to late autumn. Fl - June, July. Fr - September. P - by seed or division and by cuttings. Full sun. Good for group planting. Z 4 (3).
