Ranunculus lingua (Greater Spearwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achene. Flowers are visited by Helophilus trivittatus, Xylota jakutorum, Lejops contracta, and Cheilosia ranunculi. Individuals can grow to 0.9 m.
