Galactites tomentosa (Boar Thistle) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to mediterranean basin. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Halictus, Oedemera nobilis, sweat bees, and Mordellistena pumila. Individuals can grow to 0.42 m.
