Oxysmilia pliocenica is a species of cnidarians in the family caryophylliid corals. This species is extinct. Dead Oxysmilia pliocenica form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
