Myrcia splendens (Curame) is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to Cerrado, The Neotropics, Caatinga, Pantanal, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
