Psidium guajava (Guava) is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to El Salvador, Jamaica, Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic, Saint Vincent And The Grenadines, Peru, Paraguay, Saint Barthelemy, French Guiana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Netherlands Antilles, Ecuador, Saint Lucia, Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Honduras, Barbados, Trinidad And Tobago, Dominica, Suriname, Argentina, Antigua And Barbuda, Belize, Anguilla, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Montserrat, Grenada, Venezuela, Haiti, and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 25 feet.
