Pylodictis olivaris (Flathead Catfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family North American catfishes. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Nearctic, Mexico, Canada, and United States. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 155 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on swimming to move around.
