Diagnosis: differs from congeners, with the exception of the much vertically-compressed T. depressum, by possessing more body scales with openings for the laterosensory system (49-58)(Ref. 52307).Description: body slender, rounded and very elongated; swim bladder reduced; scales very small; a single lateral line (Ref. 52307).
