Description: A madagascar chichlid (paretroplus polyactis) treated with chemical dyes by American Museum of Natural History ichthyologist John S. Sparks. The different dyes reveal different parts of the whole fish: red shows bones, blue cartilage and enzymes made tissue transparent.
