Alimentació
Menja peixos, insectes aeris i aquàtics i llurs larves, amfípodes i mamífers (incloent-hi ratolins).[5]
Hàbitat
Viu a zones d'aigües dolces temperades.[3]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Euràsia: Sakhalín.[3]
