Doryichthys heterosoma is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de zeenaalden en zeepaardjes (Syngnathidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1851 door Bleeker.
