Tradescantia is a genus of shrub in the family Commelinaceae. They are native to Puerto Rico, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, flower flies, Bombus impatiens, and Agapostemon virescens. Individuals can grow to 11 m.
