Two species in the Lecanoraceae family growing together here on a quartzite substrate: the "White Gold" rock foliose lichen Rhizoplaca chrysoleuca and the crustose Lecanora frustulosa (syn. Lecanora argopholis) with the dark apothecia.April 20, 2010, Wasatch Front, Mt. Olympus foothills, between 4,920 to 4,970 ft. elev.
