Pileus sessile, not at first resupinate, subflabelliform, convex, scarcely 12 mm. broad; surface ochraceous-brown, clothed with minute, appressed scales; lamellae rather broad,
crowded, rounded behind, orange; spores subglobose, pale-ochraceous-yellow, 6juJ stipe wanting.
Type locality: Waynesville, Ohio. Habitat: On dead logs. Distribution: Ohio.
