Only know from the Arctic (at present); Bathypelagic, concentrated between 1400 and 2000 m, observation beween 800 and 2500 m; Hundreds of Bathykorus bouilloni were observed by ROV; (NB: Re-examination of material from older cruises shows it to be common throughout the Arctic)
