Diagnostic Description

provided by Plazi (legacy text)

Literature records: Cordillera (Forel 1911a).

The relationship of M. squamosa uncinata and M. squamosa squamosa is unclear (J. Sosa-Calvo, pers. comm). I have recorded a single common species in Paraguay related to M. squamosa , and Forel’s record (MHNG, examined) belongs to this species. M. squamosa is the older name, so I use it here.
