Sulawesi Mountain Tarsier

Tarsius pumilus Miller & Hollister 1921

Tarsius pumilus (Sulawesi Mountain Tarsier) is a species of primates in the family tarsiers. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Asia. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 300 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care). They rely on saltation to move around.
