Lottioidea is a superfamily of snails. There are 283 species of Lottioidea, in 37 genera and 8 families. This superfamily has been around since the upper pleistocene age. It includes groups like Acmaeid Sea Snails, Pectinodontidae, and Lepetidae. Dead Lottioidea form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
