Arvicola amphibius (Eurasian Water Vole) is a species of rodents in the family cricetids . They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to the Palearctic. They are solitary, crepuscular herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 60 months and can grow to 193.57 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
