Xeromys myoides (False Swamp Rat) is a species of rodents in the family murid rodents. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 113.03 mm.
