Petaurista elegans (Spotted Giant Flying Squirrel) is a species of rodents in the family Sciuridae. They are found in the palearctic and the indo-malayan realm. They are nocturnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 398.02 mm. They rely on gliding to move around.
