They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Gametis forticula, Honey bee, Sacramento Anthicid Beetle, and Trichiotinus piger. Individuals can grow to 100 feet.
