Lepidemathis is a spider genus of the jumping spider family, Salticidae. The four described species are endemic to the Philippines.[1]

Species of Lepidemathis look like large editions of the related genus Emathis.[2] Lepidemathis is about 10 mm (38 in) long in females, and up to 13 mm (12 in) in males.[2]

Name

The genus name is a combination of Ancient Greek lepis "scale" and the related salticid genus Emathis.
