Pollination

Susanna's Orchid is pollinated nocturnally by a moth species, with a beautiful scent being emitted by this orchid prior to pollination. This taxon has seen a number of name changes to its scientific name over the centuries, with the current accepted species name being Pecteilis susannae, according to Tiiu Kull (2013)..
