Tuber globose. Stem 50-60 cm. Leaves sagittate, petiole twice as long as blade. Flower spathe greenish outside, white or dark red inside. Spadix reddish, less than half as long as spathe. Fruits red. V - early spring to early autumn (in St. Petersburg, April to September). Fl - spring (May in St. Petersburg). Fr - July. P - by seed. Requires a warm shady site. Z 5 (4). New.
