Sabal palmetto (Cabbage Palm) is a species of tree in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Middle America, The Contiguous United States, United States, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), Eastern North America, and Florida. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Six-spotted Bromeliad Fly, Pure Green Augochlora, Faithful Beauty, and Eastern Carpenter Bee. Individuals can grow to 90 feet.
