Aechmea bromeliifolia is a species of perennial grass in the family bromeliads. They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amazônia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso, The Neotropics, Caatinga, RondôNia, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, ParaíBa, Paraná, Pará, GoiáS, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Santa Catarina, Maranhao, Roraima, and Amapá. Flowers are visited by Bananaquit, Scale-throated Hermit, Trigona spinipes, and Glittering-bellied Emerald.
