Carex chordorrhiza (Cordroot Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Alaska, Greenland, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.14 m.
