Cyperus eragrostis (Tall Flatsedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ceará, Pantanal, Piauí, Distrito Federal, Caatinga, Cerrado, Alagoas, Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Norte, GoiáS, Mato Grosso, The Contiguous United States, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Sergipe, Pampa, ParaíBa, Maranhao, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have simple, broad leaves.
